Modeling the Effects of Nitrogen Fertilizer and Multiple Weed Interference on Soybean Yield

Understanding the effects of nitrogen (N) fertilizer on soybean-weed competition is essential for establishing a practical tool N application and weed management. A two-year field experiment was conducted in soybean located Bogatyrka (43.82° N, 131.6° E), Primorsky krai, Russia, to investigate multiple-weed interference (Glycine max) yield model these effects. Soybean loss caused by multiple weeds including common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus-galli), American slough (Beckmannia syzigachne) at different levels accurately described combined incorporating inverse quadratic exponential models into rectangular hyperbolic two parameters Y0 β, respectively. The used our study indicated that up 36 kg ha−1 can increase weed-free 2.2 Mg but under sharply decrease with increasing total density equivalent, particularly ha−1. These results, model, thus support decision making management uses cultivation.
